libgail-3-0-dbg software package provides Gail libraries and debugging symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgail-3-0-dbg
libgail-3-0-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgail-3-0-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgail-3-0-dbg *
You will get with libgail-3-0-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
